Scarsdale Village Historian Jordan Copeland explores the far-sighted decisions, community institutions, and unusual circumstances that transformed Scarsdale from a sparsely populated farming area to a prominent, sought-after suburb.

Originally presented on November 29, 2023 at an event by the Scarsdale Historical Society and sponsored by the Scarsdale Library.

A Scarsdale-made quilt that was lost for 50 years. Where was it found? Where had it been? Find out at the details at the The Scarsdale Woman’s Club on 5/8 at 2:00 PM at 37 Drake Road. The quilt was made by the Scarsdale Woman’s Club in 1976 and depicts the story of a local Revolutionary War landmark, the Odell House in Greenburgh. Susan Seal, President of the Friends of Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters will display the quilt, share the story of its journey, and tell stories of women from the Odell House’s rich history.
