Communities are built by volunteers We found an old 2016 video clip about the proposed library renovation on @lohud - starring Terri Simon and @scarsdalelibrary Director Beth Bermel. Terri was Library Board President at the time, and played a major role in the initiative. It’s amazing to see how the original vision became a reality we all enjoy today! (This is just one of her volunteer contributions in Scarsdale - we just had video evidence!) We can’t wait to see Terri Simon honored at the Scarsdale Bowl Dinner on April 23! The Scarsdale Historical Society is also receiving the Spotlight Award. RSVP through @scarsdalefoundation . . 📸 Lohud, @dattnerarch , @scarsdalelibrary
Every seat filled. Every neighbor welcome. Jordan Copeland spoke about the history of Jewish people in Scarsdale — tracing a journey shaped by resilience, community, and connection. Thank you to those who attended! The recording will be online shortly. We ran out of time for questions so please DM us if you have any! Grateful to the library for co-sponsoring this memorable event and supporting opportunities for our community to come together. #jewishhistory
